Aquent and Vitamin T to Take Part in Internet Week New York


May 17, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Aquent, a staffing organization dedicated to marketing, creative, and digital professionals, and its new division Vitamin T, announced it will join the digital media industry in New York City for Internet Week New York 2013 from May 20 to 27.

According to a release, in addition, Jim Webb, the instructor for Aquent's upcoming massive open online course (MOOC), "Coding for Designers," will be presenting the session "Make the Web Beautiful, One Font at a Time" on May 21.

The company noted that Webb has more than 1,800 hours of classroom experience teaching HTML and CSS, and is formerly the lead designer for National Geographic's Website. In his session, participants will learn about what can be done with typeface on Web pages, including a look at the evolving use of CSS Web fonts. Designers will also hear about responsive typography and the future of Web typesetting.


Internet Week New York is a week-long festival celebrating Internet business and culture.
