Investors consortium sell stake in Airband Communications to United Network ServicesMay 16, 2013 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Airband Communications, Inc., a provider of fixed wireless broadband services, has been acquired by United Network Services, Inc., a provider of data network and carrier services, in an all-stock transaction. Both the companies are based in the US. The combined company will operate under the name United Network. Airband Communications is backed by investment firms ABRY Partners, LLC, Ignition Partners, Key Venture Partners, M/C Venture Partners, Trilogy Equity Partners, Dolphin Equity Partners, L.P., Driehaus Capital Management LLC and Crescendo Venture Management, LLP.
