Intertek Receives Inmetro Accreditation in Brazil to Address Growing Demand of Household Appliances and Office EquipmentARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. --(Business Wire)-- Intertek (News - Alert), a leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, today announced that it has obtained accreditation by Inmetro as a Product Certification Body for Household Appliances (HOUS) and Office Equipment (IT/OFF) according to the IEC (News - Alert) standards 60335 and 60950. This scope expansion will allow manufacturers the ability to demonstrate compliance with the Brazilian requirements in the fastest, most efficient way possible.
