COM DEV Europe receives contract for RF electronics equipment

May 14, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- COM DEV Europe Ltd, a designer and manufacturer of space hardware subsystems, has received a formal authorization to proceed, or ATP, on a contract to develop radio frequency, or RF, electronics equipment for a satellite manufacturer.

According to the company, further details will be announced when the formal contract is signed within the next month. The ATP enables advance work to begin on the contract, expected to be worth over GBP12 million.

Work on the contract will take place at COM DEV's facility in Aylesbury UK and will last approximately 30 months, the company said.

"This contract cements COM DEV Europe's reputation for the supply of high-reliability RF Electronics and builds upon a successful phase B programme completed in 2012," said Rob Spurrett, President of COM DEV Europe. "This is particularly pleasing since it shows the confidence that my team has engendered with the customer's design and management team." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
