[May 09, 2013] GLENTEL announces opening of Marikina ALLPHONES store in Manila, Philippines Tweet May 09, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- GLENTEL Inc., a multi-carrier mobile phone retailer, has announced the opening of the Marikina ALLPHONES store in Manila, Philippines, by its retail Australia Division, AMT Group Pty, doing business as ALLPHONES. AMT Group Pty has entered into a Retail Management Services (RMS) agreement with Tao Corporation (TAO), Makati City, Philippines, to initially open up to 250 mobile phone stores in Manila and surrounding islands of the Philippines. "The opening of our Marikina ALLPHONES store marks a significant milestone for our AMT Group as Marikina is our first retail outlet outside of Australia," stated Shaun Colligan, Managing Director of GLENTEL's AMT Group Pty. "The prospect of having up to 250 outlets in the Philippines is one that not only provides a huge new opportunity for our people but also allows a new and exciting growth avenue for the Group." According to the company, the RMS agreement commits AMT to license its ALLPHONES brand and store design to the project. Under an IP and Technology transfer agreement, AMT also agrees to deliver software, technology and consultation to TAO to support the management of the new retail store network.
