Investors consortium to sell Airband Communications to United Network Services


May 08, 2013 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- A consortium of investors has agreed to sell Airband Communications, Inc., a provider of fixed wireless broadband services, to United Network Services, Inc., a provider of data network and carrier services. Both the companies are based in the US.

Investors include ABRY Partners, LLC, Ignition Partners, Key Venture Partners, M/C Venture Partners, Trilogy Equity Partners, Dolphin Equity Partners, L.P., Driehaus Capital Management LLC and Crescendo Venture Management, LLP.

The transaction is expected to close within thirty days.
