TSE Communications Names Basil Steele VP of EngineeringSACRAMENTO, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- TSE Communications today announced it has named Basil Steele Vice President of Engineering, effective immediately. He will lead the company's engineering organization and ensure delivery of high quality services to enterprise and government customers. Prior to joining TSE communications, Steele was Deputy Director for the Department of Defense's Weapons Security Program Office, which included all physical security projects and Defense Program funded research and development. In his more than 30 years at Sandia National Laboratories, Steele's teams designed and deployed integrated systems that protected some of the world's most sensitive and critical installations and infrastructure for both government and civilian customers. "Basil Steele is a rare breed," said Michael Stack, Chief Executive Officer of ASIS, the leading trade association for the physical security industry. In addition to his security and systems integration experience at Sandia, Steele is a faculty member of the University of New Haven and served as a member of the ASIS Board of Directors from 1996 to 2002. He holds a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and a master's in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. His focus at TSE will beto ensure that the company's growing stable of cloud infrastructure and application services, including the recently announced CloudView24 service, meet the high levels of performance, reliability and security demanded by large enterprise and government customers.
