(MTK) revealed net profit of TWD 3.73 billion or USD 126 million for the first quarter of 2013, rising 50.9% year on year but declining 16.6% quarter on quarter. Operating revenue reached TWD 23.97 billion, lessening 10.33% quarter on quarter. In the reporting period, the company recorded chipset shipment of 35 million for low- and medium-end mobile phones, generating more than 40% of the overall operating revenue.
