Entanet gives partners BT-based unlimited broadband(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) New set of products with unlimited bandwidth allowances gives Entanet resellers the ability to win new BT-based business in this fiercely competitive and fast-growing sector of the market Entanet, the partner-focused wholesale broadband provider, has added BT-based unlimited broadband to its already wide reaching portfolio of WBC and LLU packages. The new package options enable Entanet partners to compete against otherwise dominant mainstream retail providers in their efforts to win business in what is rapidly becoming the most hotly contested segment of the market. The services, which will be available to all partners to order from Monday 13th May from Entanets synergi interface and via XML, capitalise on Entanets full-scale adoption of Wholesale Broadband Connect (WBC) and its own nationwide infrastructure, and supplements the providers existing LLU-based unlimited options. Its existing allowance packages will remain available to the channel. Specifically, Entanet is offering unlimited allowances on FTTC and WBC copper (ADSL/ADSL2+) connections. The suggested selling prices range from 19.99 to 41.49 per month depending on the connection type based on standard 12-month contracts, although partners are able to adjust these. To give partners an edge over other providers, Entanet is offering a further discount off the monthly price for two-year contracts. The unlimited allowance services have been launched to meet the needs of a segment of the market that seeks peace of mind, said Paul Heritage-Redpath, Product Manager at Entanet. Demand for unlimited services, where customers dont have to worry about the amount of bandwidth they are consuming, has surged in recent months. Various factors have been driving demand for this type of service, said Heritage-Redpath. Whether customers are companies running business applications over the web, connecting regional offices and remote users together or simply using the Internet to transfer large amounts of voice and data traffic nationally and internationally; or consumers using a connection for gaming, streaming catch-up TV and films or sharing pictures and files through social media, these new options meet those requirements head-on and give our partners the power both to retain existing customers and to compete for new business. The services also give Entanet partners the ability to attract customers from other ISPs, Heritage-Redpath noted. Were not the first to enter the unlimited space and by no means the last either. However, with the combination of our competitive pricing, UK-wide adoption of WBC on our own network, and our reputation for quality customer service, we expect to see our partners winning over customers from other ISPs. Entanet will continue to provide its existing BT-based allowance and LLU-based unlimited packages through its partners, enabling them to offer customers in all areas of the UK a broad choice of options. In addition, Entanet will work with its partners to tailor services that meet the exact needs of customers through its wholesale offering.
