Primus's next-generation Metro Fibre Ring has reportedly been designed to meet Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) industry standards and deliver bandwidth over 1000 times faster than the typical broadband connection. Primus's fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) network delivers high-speed fibre access to downtown Ottawa - exceeding 10 Gigabits per second (Gbit/s), the company said.
