Connode AB and Itron to Deliver Smart Metering Communications to Vattenfall Heat Sweden OperationsSTOCKHOLM, May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Connode AB has reached an agreement to deliver Connode wireless mesh communication solution as a core component in Swedish utility Vattenfall Heat Sweden Operations' deployment of remote heat meters in the Uppsala region in Sweden. Vattenfall Heat Sweden Operations is a subsidiary of Vattenfall, a leading utility company in Northern Europe. Some 8000 heat meters using Connode M-Bus enabled Wireless communication terminals will be deployed under this agreement. Itron smart head-end system software, already in production for the commercial and industrial meters, will be used to obtain billing information.
