OBT Anywhere deploys AltiGen's MaxACD contact center for Lync solutionMay 03, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- AltiGen Communications, Inc., a provider of voice-over internet protocol business phone systems and unified communications solutions, has announced that OBT Anywhere, a provider of Hosted Lync services, has deployed the company's MaxACD contact center for Lync solution to deliver a hosted cloud-based call center service. According to AltiGen, OBT Anywhere will now be able to provide organizations with a complete communications service that meets the needs of contact centers across North America, Asia and Australia. The combination of a Lync unified communications solution deployed with the AltiGen MaxACD solution in a hosted environment, enables contact centers to deploy a turnkey solution with minimal capital investment, said AltiGen. In addition, organizations can reportedly take advantage of unified communications including fully integrated enterprise voice and videoconferencing, instant messaging, presence, visual voicemail, email and collaboration. These features all integrate with MaxACD's advanced call center features such as skill-based routing, multi-level Auto Attendant, Call Recording, Monitoring and Reporting.
