Ziggo acquires Esprit Telecom and Zoranet ConnectivityMay 02, 2013 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Ziggo B.V., a provider of entertainment, information and communication services, has acquired Esprit Telecom and Zoranet Connectivity Services BV from Detron ICT & Telecom Groep BV, for a consideration of EUR18 million. All the entities are based in the Netherlands. Esprit Telecom is a provider of voice and data services for the SME market, while Zoranet is an ICT service provider that focuses on the retail sector. Detron is a provider of information technology and telecommunications services. Announcement (March 14, 2013): Ziggo has reached an agreement to acquire Esprit Telecom and Zoranet Connectivity from Detron ICT, for a consideration of EUR18 million. Esprit Telecom has generated revenues of EUR37 million in 2012.
