Arizona Technology Council Elects Vante Medical Technologies Chairman, President and CEO Roger Vogel as Chairman of the Board


May 02, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- The Arizona Technology Council announced that Roger Vogel, chairman, president and CEO of Vante Medical Technologies as its Chairman of the Board and Bob Witwer, vice president of Advanced Technology for Honeywell Aerospace as its Vice Chairman.

According to a release, both positions will be up for re-election in October, for one year terms. Charles Vermillion, CEO, OneNeck IT Services Corp. now serves as Chairman Emeritus.

The Council also elected Jacque Westling, partner, Quarles and Brady as a new Director to serve a three-year term. All changes were ratified in a unanimous vote during a regular session of the Council's Board of Directors' meeting on April 18.


"First and foremost, we are grateful for the leadership Chuck Vermillion provided during his tenure as Chairman," said Steven Zylstra, president and CEO of the Arizona Technology Council. "As we begin to implement our new vision and strategic plan, Roger's election marks a unique milestone for the Council as our first Chairman from a Tucson-based company. He is an excellent business visionary with deep roots and a powerful personal commitment to both Southern Arizona and the state." The Arizona Technology Council's executive officers and board of directors serve in an advisory and fiduciary role by representing the interests of the state's technology industries in the Council's strategic planning and on-going operations.

The Arizona Technology Council's current Board of Directors includes 41 members, seven of which are officers.

The Arizona Technology Council is a trade association for science and technology companies.
