TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2013 Announces Startup Battlefield Finalists
SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--
TechCrunch today announced 28 finalists for the Startup Battlefield at
this year's TechCrunch Disrupt NY. Each year, TechCrunch Disrupt brings
the East Coast a unique opportunity to confer over industry
topics-of-the-moment, spotlight the year's most promising startups and
get sage advice from technology industry luminaries.
From Monday, April 29, through Wednesday, May 1, the Startup Battlefield
gathers emerging companies to demo and compete for a $50,000 prize and
the coveted Disrupt Cup. Battlefield competitors pitch their companies
live and onstage, exposing them to innovators, investors, venture
capitalists and influencers in the tech community. The winning company
will be announced at the closing awards ceremony on Wednesday evening at
6:15 p.m.
Winners and finalists from previous Startup Battlefield competitions
include Mint.com, Yammer, Dropbox and UberConference, winner at Disrupt
NY 2012.
