Calibre Secures Information Technology Blanket Purchase Agreement [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Calibre has been awarded an Information Management, Information Technology (IT), and Information Assurance Support Services blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to support the Office of the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DOD CIO). Under this BPA, Calibre will deliver a range of support services and expertise in areas which include command and control (C2), communications, IT infrastructure, and information assurance. Calibre will support the DOD Information Technology Enterprise goals to increase mission effectiveness, improve cyber security, and deliver efficiencies. According to a release, this multiple award BPA will consist of a base year plus four (4) one-year options with a total maximum ceiling of $217.5 million. "Calibre is strategically focused on delivering effective information security solutions," said Calibre's President & Chief Executive Officer, Joe Martore. "We provide long-term value, innovation, and an in-depth understanding of the information security issues our customers face." Calibre is joined on this effort by subcontractors Virtual Enterprise Architects; SAVA Workforce Solutions; RedPhone; Dev Technology Group, Inc.; Base Technologies, a CA Technologies Company; Wyle, Inc. (CAS Group); and Serco, Inc.
