Popular Mobile Game 2Fuse Launches Global Challenge, Starting from Singapore and the Philippines

Singapore, Apr 23, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- For the uninitiated, 2Fuse is a fast and furious arcade-styled game which pits players against the clock to match and fuse as many similar icons as they possibly can within sixty seconds. Every completed cycle bestows special powers to enhance the player's game play and score. This may sound simple enough, but mastery of the game is a completely different matter.

Since 2Fuse's launch in 2012, hundreds of thousands around the world have been enthralled by the simple-to-play but hard-to-master finger buster. Every few minutes, somebody tweets about the game, and every so often players post videos of their high scores onto Youtube flaunting their achievements.

"We have over 20 million game sessions played so far, with each session lasting an average of 3 minutes." says Loh Zihao, Chief Programmer of 2Fuse."We are highly encouraged by the stickiness 2Fuse is exhibiting and look forward to even more exciting numbers ahead." Encouraged by the passion exhibited by fans worldwide, Mojo Forest has performed a major update on 2Fuse. The game now boasts better graphics, effects and social media features.

As a further step to reward its players for playing 2Fuse, Mojo Forest is also announcing the launch of the 2Fuse Global Challenge.

The 2Fuse Global Challenge will take place in two formats - namely the Online Challenge and the Street Challenge. With the Online Challenge, weekly, fortnightly and monthly challenges will be issued and players can submit videos of them playing 2Fuse to fulfill the challenge. For the Street Challenge, the Mojo Forest team would literally go out onto the streets of various countries to get people to play 2Fuse and win some prizes for themselves.

At the moment, the 2Fuse Street Challenge has already begun making its rounds in Singapore and the Philippines. It will soon be coming to the USA and other parts of the world.

"The current reigning champion of 2Fuse is Marco Masangcay from the Philippines. He has given a whole new meaning to the phrase 'fast and furious,' " says Morby Lin, Creative Director of 2Fuse. "We intend to reward players like him with prizes through the 2Fuse Global Challenge and also look forward to seeing other players step up to challenge him." Mojo Forest further divulges that it is currently speaking with brands who are keen to leverage on 2Fuse's popularity and strong engagement factors to sponsor the Street Challenges.

2Fuse is available on the iTunes store and also the Google Play store. More information on the 2Fuse Global Challenge can be found here.
