[April 22, 2013] BRIEF: Telkonet lands contract with hotel chain Tweet Apr 22, 2013 (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Red Lion Hotels Corp. will invest more than $500,000 to upgrade wireless at 19 of its hotels under a contract announced Monday by Wauwatosa-based Telkonet Inc. Telkonet (TKOI) is the parent company of EthoStream, a provider of high-speed Internet access networks for hotels around the country. The EthoStream contract will bring the Red Lion hotels, which have had an earlier version of Telkonet's technology in place since 2008, up to current wireless standards, Telkonet said. Telkonet provides energy management technology for the hospitality and other markets.
