[April 18, 2013] Elektrobit announces expansion in Romania Tweet Apr 18, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Elektrobit, or EB, a developer of embedded technology solutions for the automotive and wireless industries, has announced the expansion in Brasov, Romania, planning to grow the local team to more than 100 software developers over time. The Brasov office will focus on automotive software product development and testing. Christian Drothler has been appointed as managing director of EB Automotive Romania SRL. He previously was responsible for managing ECU (Electronic Control Units) development and customer projects at EB in Germany. "With the office opening in Brasov, Romania, EB expands its engineering operations to Eastern Europe, and plans to generate over 100 jobs for software development engineers in the region with a focus on navigation and ECU software and testing," said Drothler.
