Connectria's CEO Recognized by University of Missouri

Connectria (News - Alert) Hosting, a global managed and cloud hosting provider, today announced its founder, President and CEO, Rich Waidmann, received the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award from the University of Missouri-St. Louis Business Alumni Association.

Rich graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in economics and mathematics. After graduation, Rich spent thirteen years in the Information Technology industry. In 1996, he founded Connectria and has been the principal architect of its success over the last 17 years. Today Connectria is St. Louis's largest privately held cloud computing and managed hosting provider, as well as a company with global reach. Connectria employs approximately 120 people with more than 1,000 customers in 30 countries worldwide including Ameren, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and IBM (News - Alert) among many others. Annual sales for 2013 are expected to exceed $30,000,000.
