NaviSite Europe selects Cloudshape to deliver NaviCloud services in Benelux

Apr 10, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- NaviSite Europe Limited, a provider of hosting, managed application, managed messaging and managed cloud services, has selected Cloudshape Limited, a subsidiary of Datacon Ltd, as its partner to deliver NaviCloud services in the Benelux region.

Cloudshape's role will be to assist organisations in evaluating and implementing cloud services using the NaviCloud platform. The deal will enable both companies to meet the demand for cloud-based managed services in Benelux, NaviSite said.

"We selected Cloudshape for their in-depth understanding of the cloud market in Benelux", said Sean McAvan, Managing Director NaviSite Europe Limited. "Datacon, its parent company, has a proven track record of providing enterprise portals to the Benelux region using the NaviCloud platform over the last 18 months, which means that Cloudshape already has access to detailed knowledge of the NaviCloud architecture, provisioning and management tools. Cloudshape's local contacts and experience makes them an ideal partner for us in Benelux." Meindert van Duijvenbode, CEO and founder of Cloudshape, said: "Having provided enterprise portals via our parent company Datacon for over 16 years, it became apparent that there was a growing demand in the Benelux region for cloud-based infrastructure. We understand the importance of delivering a robust, secure and technologically advanced solution to our clients.

"Cloudshape selected the NaviCloud platform from NaviSite because of their leadership in these key areas. With strong competition in the cloud market; partnering with NaviSite - a Time Warner Cable company - gave us not only a technological lead, but also a strong financial partner to source these technologies for our clients." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
