[April 09, 2013] Teradek Holds Live NAB 2013 Broadcast Tweet Apr 09, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Teradek, a company focusing on wireless video devices, announced it will be hosting a live broadcast from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show. According to a release, the live show, in partnership with Streaming Media, TV Bay, Planet 5D, and News Shooter, will bring together industry influencers such as Sony, Blackmagic Design, Philip Bloom, and others for panel interviews, new product demonstrations, and roundtable discussions about the latest technologies announced at NAB. This year's show will be hosted online by Ustream, a live streaming platform. "Our annual 'Best of NAB' live show is really going to wow online audiences," said Nicol Verheem, CEO of Teradek. "We decided to take a different approach to the show this time around by inviting a number of media outlets to help us tailor content to their respective audiences. Doing this allows us to share a variety of perspectives on the latest technologies and products from every corner of NAB. To make the "Best of NAB" show possible, the Company said Teradek will utilize their new VidiU encoder to broadcast the high definition feed to the Web.
