Redl will be responsible for the marketing business in Europe and directly report to the company's chief marketing officer (CMO) Johan Lodenius. With over 20 years' experience of developing wireless communication technology and marketing experience in Europe, Redl once worked as general manager for Altair Semiconductor, a LTE technology start-up company. MediaTek points out that Redl's extensive social relationship and rich marketing experience in Europe will help it accelerate the expansion in the market.
