Electronics markets closed against the murder of trader [Pakistan Press International]


(Pakistan Press International Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) All electronics markets of Karachi remained closed on Monday to protest the murder of Muhammad Irfan, a prominent trader and ex-president of Saddar Electronics Markets Association.

Armed culprits had opened indiscriminate firing on the car of Muhammad Irfan in North Nazimabad area on January 24, 2012. He fought for life in a local hospital and breathed his last on Monday. All electronics markets of the city went closed and angry traders staged protest demos a many places.



Chairman Sindh Tajir Ittehad Jamil Piracha, president Electronics Market Rainbow Center Saleem Memon and other trade leaders strongly condemned the murder of their colleague and demanded of the government to arrest the killers. They asked the law enforcer agencies to take decisive steps against the known target killers, extortionists and criminals of Karachi to bring back peace to the city.
