Maryland's inaugural challenge put on by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) has narrowed possible awardees from over 250 applicants to those companies that will present in front of judges on March 5, 2013. A finalist in the technology category, AirPatrol is in competition with other Maryland companies ranging from social media engagement software, software that applies personality to decision making, bidding wars on car rental prices software, and more. AirPatrol is unique in the competition as it is a combination of technology and security.
