GN ReSound® leads the hearing aid industry's wireless revolution with the first Made for iPhone® accessory and accompanying app

TORONTO, Feb. 25, 2013, 2013 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Hearing-aided people can now get full advantage of their mobile phones with the new ReSound UniteTM Phone Clip+ and ReSound ControlTM app.

For the first time ever, hearing-aided people can use an iPhone to control hearing aid volume, program and streaming accessories. ReSound Control is a free download on the App Store(SM )which transfers and extends ReSound Unite Phone Clip+ functionality onto an iPhone screen. It will soon be available as an AndroidTM app on Google PlayTM.

The Phone Clip+ uses any Bluetooth®-enabled telephone to transform hearing aids into telephone headsets. As well, it includes simple remote control of the hearing instrument and streams stereo quality music.
