Top Echelon Poll: Majority of Companies 'Communicate Well' About Hiring

Canton, Ohio, Feb 21, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- As is the case with any endeavor that involves an abundance of human interaction, communication is a crucial component of the hiring process. Of course, the more people who are involved in that process, the greater the chances for miscommunication become.

This also applies to companies that utilize executive recruiters to conduct searches for them to find the best candidates available for their open positions. However, are the lines of communication open between company officials and their executive recruiters According to a recent poll conducted by Top Echelon Network, an elite network of highly specialized search firms, recruiters who are members of the Network indicated that the majority of their clients communicate well about hiring.

As part of that poll, Top Echelon Network posed the following question: "What percentage of your clients 'communicates well' during the recruiting and hiring process " Nearly 5% of poll participants (4.9%) indicated that all of their clients communicate well, while 28.0% stated that "about 75% of them" communicate well.

In addition, 37.8% of recruiters indicated "about half" of their clients reach that performance plateau in terms of communication, and 28.0% of participants stated that only "about 25%" of them did so.

Fortunately, just 1.2% of recruiters were of the opinion that "none of them" communicate well.

According to Top Echelon Network President Mark Demaree, the results of this most recent Network poll are encouraging.

"Effective communication breeds success," said Demaree. "In order for recruiters to do their job as effectively as they can, there needs to be consistent communication during every stage of the interviewing and hiring process. Top Echelon Network recruiters work with some of the biggest and most successful companies in the country, so it's not surprising they believe--as a whole--that their clients communicate well." Top Echelon Network was founded in 1988 in Canton, Ohio. Nearly 400 recruiting firms from all major industries are Preferred Member recruiters in Top Echelon Network.
