Google acquires Channel IntelligenceFeb 21, 2013 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Google, Inc., an internet technology and advertising company, has acquired Channel Intelligence, Inc., a provider of marketing services for manufacturers, retailers and publishers, from Internet Capital Group, Inc., a technology-holding company, for $125 million in an all-cash deal. All the companies are based in the US. Internet Capital realized approximately $60.5 million of cash in connection with the transaction. Announcement (February 6, 2013): Google has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Channel Intelligence from Internet Capital for $125 million in an all-cash deal. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2013.
