Allot Communications picks Tata for hosted policy management services

Feb 21, 2013 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Allot Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALLT) said that Tata Communications Ltd. has selected Allot Service Gateway solution to provide cloud-hosted policy services to their Mobile Network Operator (MNO) customers.

The solution will feature in Tata Communications' new Hosted Policy Engine, the world's first cloud-based solution for policy control, which will improve the profitability of MNOs. Tata Communications offers Policy Management and Enforcement solutions as a managed service, hosting it in the cloud to reduce the complexity, cost and timeline for deployment and ongoing operations, making it an attractive alternative for many MNOs.
