What's Google Glass It's augmented reality eyewear that Google has been testing for about a year now. If you really think it's cool, Google will let you apply for a chance to buy a pair of the prototyples for $1,500, but hurry, the deadline is, Feb. 27, and, oh, you have to pick them up in person in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles. The Google Glass website says: "We're looking for bold, creative individuals who want to join us and be a part of shaping the future of Glass. We'd love to make everyone an Explorer, but we're starting off a bit smaller. We're still in the early stages, and while we can't promise everything will be perfect, we can promise it will be exciting."
