Huawei to Launch Several Smartphone Models This MonthFeb 18, 2013 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is expected to launch a four-core smartphone model Ascend P2 and the second WP8 platform-based mobile phone model W2 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 held this February. The company once launched 6.1-inch mobile phone model Ascend Mate, the four-core Ascend D2 and WP8 platform-based mobile phone W1 at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2013 in America. According to previous rumor, Ascend P2 will be equipped with 4.7-inch FHD (full high definition) screen, and will adopt K3V3 four-core 1.8GHz processor developed by HiSilicon Technologies Co., Ltd and Android 4.1 operating system. Another source indicated that Huawei was to launch Ascend W2 with 7.7mm ultrathin body that is expected to become the thinnest WP8 platform-based smartphone in the world.
