Family part of music video

Feb 14, 2013 (Daily Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- FRANKLIN GROVE -- If you've seen the video for singer Josh Turner's latest single, "Find Me a Baby," you've also spotted Lindsy Stumpenhorst's family.

The Franklin Grove family's brush with fame came about when Stumpenhorst, 28, began following the country star's updates on his Facebook page.

"One of his updates on his news feed said that if you or your family would like to be featured in my music video, then submit a written document telling us something about your family," Stumpenhorst said.

She did just that. She told Turner about her two children, kindergartner Cole, 5, and Chloe, 2, and her husband, Kyle, 29, and included photos.

Lindsy teaches at Reagan Middle School, and Kyle owns Rural Renovators, a business that builds post frames and houses. The family already were fans: They attended Turner's concert at the Bureau County Fair last summer.

"If you are looking for a family that can make you laugh and is easy to work with, you've found that in the Stumpenhorsts," Lindsy wrote.

The producers liked what they saw, and asked the Stumpenhorsts to come to Chicago the weekend after Thanksgiving to meet with the production crew.

"We filmed for a little while," Lindsy said. "I wasn't sure what would be edited ... The video came out 2 or 3 weeks ago; we are featured in it three different times." The video features many families, all goofing off and having fun.

At one point, you can see Kyle planting a smooch on Lindsy; at another, Lindsy and Chloe stick out their tongues.

Kyle likely participated in the video "because he's humoring me," she said. He grumbled about having to take off work to participate in the filming. For Lindsy, though, taking part in the video was fun.

It was even more fun to see the finished product, which she shared with friends and family on her Facebook page.

"What an amazing memory to have, with the kids being so small and so happy," she said. "I like to remember my family like that always."
