Vidacare Corporation Expands Management Team with Three Hires and One Promotion

Vidacare Corporation has expanded its management team with the hiring of three executives and the promotion of a fourth.

Key managers new to Vidacare include:

  • Stewart Strong - Vice President, U.S. Sales
    Strong brings over 15 years of sales management and leadership experience in the medical device industry, including positions with Atricure, Ethicon Endo-Surgery (division of Johnson and Johnson) and Medtronic. Strong holds a BA from the University of Connecticut.
  • Nigel Bark - Vice President, International
    Bark brings over two decades of experience in the medical device industry with international sales and management positions at Carefusion Corporation, Cardinal Health, Alaris Mdical Systems and Johnson and Johnson. Bark holds a BS from the University- West of England - Bristol.
  • John Farugia - Senior Director, Global Marketing


    Farugia has nearly 25 years' experience in international sales and marketing efforts for medical device organizations, including Kinetic Concepts (KCI), Zimmer and Jobst. He has a BS from Bradley University.

In addition, Jay McElhenney has been promoted to Vice President, Manufacturing & Quality.

  • McElhenney's 27 years of experience in the medical device industry include positions at Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Cordis Corporation (both Johnson & Johnson companies), Kinetic Concepts (KCI), and Bard Electro-Medical Systems. McElhenney holds a BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver.
