CDNetworks' 2012 Focus on Dynamic Content Acceleration and Emerging Markets Pays Off with 52% Growth in New Logos Bookings

SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Recapping 2012, CDNetworks increased new logo monthly recurring revenue (MRC) bookings combined in the US and Europe by 52% over 2011. The company's dynamic acceleration solutions were included in 74% of new bookings MRC and China Acceleration was included in 62% of new bookings MRC. In addition, CDNetworks added more than 40 points of presence for a total of 140 around the globe including in Russia, The Middle East, Africa, South America, and Asia, allowing customers to forge new markets and provide the same user experience no matter where their customers and employees are located.

"Our customers are increasingly realizing the value of accelerating their dynamic content and cloud applications in remote customer and employee sites," said Jeff Kim, President & COO, CDNetworks Americas & EMEA. "With CDNetworks Dynamic Web Acceleration, our customers have decreased cloud and web application load times from an average of 25 seconds in remote locations to 3 seconds, and reduced time to deliver dynamic content by an average of 300%. All of this without building new datacenters or colocating servers."

Eighty-eight new logos were added in 2012 including SaxoBank, Thomsons Online Benefits, Demandware, Phillips Van-Heusen, and German-based technology company TuneUp.

"For an internet business, speed and latency issues are unacceptable," said Matthias Spörlein, Web Development Director at TuneUp. "If pages fail to load in a few seconds or downloads become laborious, people won't stick around and that just isn't an option for us. CDNetworks Dynamic Web Acceleration allows us to expand anywhere in the world with optimal web performance."

Many existing customers have also added Dynamic Web Acceleration including Spain-based Grupo Transhotel. "We just could not allow our service to be hampered by speed or latency problems; we wanted to maintain our high levels of service and ensure that we didn't put our business and that of our clients at risk," said Francisco Javier Diéguez, Architecture and Infrastructure Manager of Transhotel.

Other 2012 milestones included the second year of PCI-DSS certification, ensuring that data security measures adhere to the standard. The October 2012 launch of Russia Acceleration established 13 points of presence and local expertise within Russia. CDNetworks continued to extend marketing reach throughout Europe, with the addition of French and German corporate sites.
