HDBaseT Alliance Adds Belkin to Its Rapidly-growing Members List

The HDBaseT Alliance today announced that Belkin has joined the Alliance, enabling Belkin to integrate HDBaseT technology into its lines of audio/video products for commercial and consumer applications. Belkin has also announced its new HDBaseT HDMI audio/video extender solution for high performance AV connectivity over Cat5e long distance applications.

The HDBaseT technology enables the delivery of uncompressed high definition video, audio, Internet, controls and power over a single cat5e/6 cable up to 100 meters, eliminating the common issues professional installers face concerning cable distance and location of available power outlets.
