CEA Welcomes Bipartisan Legislation to Modify FCC's 'Sunshine' Rule

The following statement is attributable to Gary Shapiro (News - Alert), president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association^®, on the FCC Collaboration Act, bipartisan legislation reintroduced today in Congress to streamline decision-making at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC (News - Alert)):

"We commend the bi-partisan sponsors of the common-sense "FCC Collaboration Act". This simple rules change will improve the functioning of the FCC, reduce delays, and promote a more rapid decision-making process. We urge Congress to approve this bill expeditiously."
