PolicyPak Releases Lockdown Tool for Daemon Tools

Feb 06, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop management software, just unveiled their newest Pak for Daemon Tools.

This pre-configured Pak for Daemon Tools allows administrators to set and enforce expectations for users' applications, so users get the same experience every time the application is launched. Using the Pak, admins can disable particular settings such as the "Check for Updates" feature so users can't modify it. A video covering all the features of the Daemon Tools Pak can be found on the PolicyPak website.

IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.

"It's easy for users to emulate configuration settings with their own within Daemon Tools and mess things up as quickly. That's where PolicyPak comes in," says Jeremy Moskowitz, Group Policy MVP and founder of PolicyPak Software.

PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
