Stitcher Reinvents Android App, Rebuilt and Redesigned From the Ground Up

Stitcher, the mobile leader in on-demand news, entertainment, sports and talk radio, today released a sweeping update to its Android app for smartphones and tablets. With the brand new Stitcher app, now available for free from Google (News - Alert) Play, listeners will enjoy an all-new experience optimized from the ground up to take full advantage of the Android native UI, featuring more intuitive navigation, browsing and discovery features.

Upgraded Performance and Stability - Stitcher for Android is reengineered using the latest media APIs to best deliver a smooth listening experience, rebuilding the audio player from scratch.

Rich Notifications - Exclusive to Jelly Bean users, listeners can control playback, pausing and tracking without unlocking their phones.
