Marten Law Expands Carbon Trading and Cleantech Practice as Erika Anderson Joins San Francisco Office


SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

Erika Anderson has joined Marten Law as Of Counsel, expanding the firm's transactional expertise in the areas of carbon trading, offset development, clean energy and sustainability. Marten Law, which opened a San Francisco office in 2011, is the largest environmental and energy firm in the West, with offices in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco.

Anderson represents clients in complex transactional matters relating to cleantech, energy and sustainability. She has special expertise in markets for carbon emission credits, such as California's cap and trade program under AB-32. Anderson advises clients on all aspect of creating and evaluating offsets, and she specializes in assessing and managing risk exposure for participants involatile emerging carbon markets. She also advises clients in negotiations relating to environmental certification, licensing products for management of environmental data and other complex transactional matters.
