Hostway announced the APS integration of FlexCloud Server at Parallels Summit 2013, going on now through Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Through Hostway’s FlexCloud Server APS integration for the Parallels platform, Parallels ecosystem partners will have a cost-effective, turn-key solution for offering Hostway’s enterprise-class IaaS public cloud service to their customers and resellers. Through Parallels’ Automation Platform, partners and their resellers can bundle FlexCloud with other services to provide on-demand, pay-as-you-go cloud-computing resources and offer FlexCloud’s advanced features, including user-configurable firewalls and load balancing, IP address management, image cloning and snapshots, managed backup and other enterprise-class capabilities. For independent software vendors (ISVs), value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs), the new solution allows them to bundle a self-serve compute platform with their software applications, professional services, and managed service offerings to present a one-stop, end-to-end cloud-delivery environment.
