Melissa Williams Fine Art, 11 S. Ninth St., hosts an exhibition of John Wehmer paintings, including a trove of his artwork that has been hidden for 50 years. Wehmer's paintings reflect the powerful forces that transformed America at the end of World War II. Like the work of Abstract Expressionists Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and Franz Kline, his oversize canvases are charged with strong color and an almost violent energy. The exhibition will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and will also be available Feb. 8, 15 and 22.

Artlandish Gallery, 1019 E. Walnut, will host Love Fest Art Fest tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. Within the Artlandish complex, there will be live music and over 60 local and regional artists showing fine art and fine craft. House of VanSickle will present "Love Potion Motion" with interactive performance art installations featuring House of VanSickle fashion and models along with the music stylings of Sheik Vincent. Also, the North Village Studios will host the grand opening of the studio of Morli Wilcox. Call Artlandish at 442- 2999 for more information.
