Air Products' board names David H Y Ho as new member

Jan 31, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Specialist gases company Air Products (NYSE:APD) announced on Wednesday the appointment of David H Y Ho to its board of directors.

Currently, Ho is chairman and founder of Kiina Investment, a venture capital firm that invests in start-up companies in the technology, media and telecommunications industries.

Previously, Ho served as chairman of Greater China for Nokia Siemens Networks, president of Greater China for Nokia Corporation, senior vice president of the Nokia Networks Business Group and has worked in senior leadership roles with Nortel Networks and Motorola in China and Canada.

Additionally, Ho is a member of the board of Pentair Limited and Triquint Semiconductor in the US as well as China based China Ocean Shipping Company and Dong Fang Electric Corporation.
