Jan 31, 2013 (The Reidsville Review - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- For the first time, U.S. Rep. Howard Coble will have a full time office operating in Rockingham County. Coble announced plans Monday, Jan. 28 for the new office, to be located at 107 Midtown Commons in Madison.

"With eight new counties to serve during the next two years," Coble said, "we had to look at new ways to maintain our level of outstanding constituent services. We are pleased to announce the opening of a new, full time office in Madison. We are equally pleased to announce that a native daughter of Rockingham County, Lindsay Morris, will operate our office in Madison." Lindsay Morris is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Don Moore of Stoneville. A 1999 graduate of McMichael High School, Morris attended Davidson College for her undergraduate studies and the University of St. Andrews for her Master's degree. Lindsay Morris said she is excited to return to her Rockingham roots. "I have worked for Congressman Coble for nearly six years in Greensboro," Morris added, "and I am looking forward to serving my home county and renewing old acquaintances and developing new relationships, both professional and personal." The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The phone number is 336-427-0044.
