BRIEF: Local clerk takes over state organization


Jan 29, 2013 (La Crosse Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- La Crosse County Clerk of Courts Pam Radtke is the new president of a statewide clerks association.

Radtke will serve a two-year term as the helm of the Wisconsin Clerks of Circuit Court Association and is the first clerk from La Crosse County to serve in the role. As president, she represents the 72-member organization and runs the meetings and conferences. She previously served as vice president.



Radtke joined the La Crosse County clerk's office in 1978 and was first elected clerk of courts in 1996. She manages a $1 million budget for the court system and keeps track of files.

Radtke also serves on the CCAP Steering Committee.
