Dell Rises 1.61% on Heavy Volume: Watch For Potential Pullback


Jan 29, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $12.80 to a high of $13.48. Yesterday, the shares gained 1.6%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $13.29 on volume of 77.9 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.



In the past 52 weeks, Dell share prices have been bracketed by a low of $8.69 and a high of $18.36 and are now at $13.25, 52% above that low price. Over the past week, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone down 0.4% while the 50-day MA has advanced 2.1%.
