Slalom Consulting Continues Growth in Boston Market with Four New Hires


BOSTON, Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Slalom Consulting further strengthened its ability to serve customers in the Northeast with the addition of four executive leaders to its Boston office. The combined technology expertise of new team members Rob Daigneau, Paul Le Vine, Todd Richman, and Carmen Taglienti spans custom development, portals and collaboration, technology consulting, CRM and business intelligence practices--all growing and in-demand practice areas for the firm.

Rob Daigneau joins Slalom Boston as practice area lead for custom development. Rob has more than 20 years' experience leading teams and designing and implementing applications and products for a broad array of industries, from financial services and manufacturing to retail and travel. He served as director at Blue Metal Architects, and immediately prior to joining Slalom was a principal at ArcSage. Daigneau will collaborate with Slalom's National Teams and lead strategy for all matters pertaining to custom app development and systems integration. Prior to joining Slalom, he held prominent positions with Monster.com and Fidelity Investments.

Paul Le Vine joins Slalom Boston as practice area lead for portals and collaboration. With 16 years of technology consulting experience, including practice lead positions at both EMC and Internosis, Le Vine brings deep portal technology and industry knowledge to the position. He exhibits both a breadth and depth of understanding of business and technology, including social networking within the enterprise, full cycle software development, agile development practices, object-oriented and service-oriented custom design, business intelligence, and enterprise architecture principles.


Todd Richman joins Slalom Boston as CRM practice area lead in the firm's technology consulting practice. Richman brings more than 15 years in the technology space to the position, with a focus on consulting and implementation services for Software as a Service and cloud-based solutions that meet complex, enterprise-wide business and technical requirements in the CRM and HCM industries. Most recently, he led CRM practice expansion in Boston for business and technology consulting firm Acumen Solutions.

Carmen Taglienti joins Slalom Boston as a practice area lead for the business intelligence practice. Taglienti has more than 20 years' experience as a software engineer and systems architect, and is a recognized leader in the business intelligence, large-scale DBMS, data warehousing and the "big data" space. Most recently a director at Blue Metal Architects, Taglienti also served in this capacity at Avanade. While at the Microsoft Technology Center in Boston and at Tripadvisor.com, he honed his skills on the Microsoft BI platform and advanced data platform architectures, including HADOOP and "big data" technologies.
