ChannelAdvisor Delivers Access to New Global Sources of Demand with 2013 Winter Release
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. --(Business Wire)--
ChannelAdvisor, a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions
that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today
announced its 2013 Winter Release, introducing support for additional
global marketplaces, Google (News - Alert) Shopping in Europe and Australia, Amazon
Webstore sites and more. The 2013 Winter Release is tailored to offer
retailers access to additional sources of global demand as well as
greater control over channel sales through multiple platform
enhancements.
"Growing internationally is important to our retailers, so the Winter
Release offers multiple ways for them to expand into new regions through
our platform," said ChannelAdvisor CEO Scot Wingo. "Beyond global,
multichannel diversification is vital to scaling any online business,
which is why this release includes support for new marketplaces, Google
Shopping and webstores. We want our retailers to be best equipped to
make the most of channel and geographical expansion."
The 2013 Winter Release enriches ChannelAdvisor's Marketplaces solution
by adding support for SHOP.COM, New Zealand's Trade Me as well as Amazon
Italy. ChannelAdvisor retailers can now fully integrate with these
marketplaces to reach new customers and generate incremental revenue.
ChannelAdvisor now also integrates with Groupon Goods, offering US
retailers the opportunity to submit deals to Groupon and generate
potentially high sales volumes over short periods of time.
"We were thrilled to be included in the early experience program for
ChannelAdvisor's Groupon Goods integration, which offered us the
opportunity to sell on one of the hottest channels without having to
allocate additional technical resources during the busy holiday season,"
said Unlimitedceluar.com E-commerce Manager Sam Weiss.
The Winter Release also introduces support for Google Shopping in the
United Kingdom, France, Germany and Australia in anticipation of the
Google Shopping transition in February. ChannelAdvisor's global
retailers will be well equipped for this coming shift in the search and
shopping landscape. Likewise, ChannelAdvisor's Winter Release eases the
complexity of selling across global borders by allowing retailers to
leverage new shipping services such as eBay's (News - Alert) Global Shipping program
and Amazon's FBA Export program to reach international consumers. To
assist online retailers in Germany, ChannelAdvisor translated its
Marketplaces, Paid (News - Alert) Search and Comparison Shopping solutions into German.
Furthermore, ChannelAdvisor announced its support for Amazon Webstore
sites, giving retailers the ability to manage their Amazon Webstore
listings and orders using the same process they use for the Amazon
Marketplace. The Amazon Webstore Connector synchronizes critical data
points such as price and quantity while giving the retailer granular
control over product placement.
ChannelAdvisor Director of Product Management Link Walls will host a
webinar that will explore the details of the 2013 Winter Release on
Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm ET.
