Watch for Shares of NYSE Euronext (NYX) to Approach Support at $33.02

Jan 23, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Shares of NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) have bearishly opened below the pivot of $33.35 today and have reached the first support level of $33.24. Should the shares continue to fall, the support pivots of $33.02 and $32.69 will be of interest.

NYSE Euronext share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $33.47 and a 52-week low of $22.25 and are now trading 49% above that low price at $33.15 per share. Over the past week, the 200-day moving average (MA) has remained constant while the 50-day MA has advanced 1.4%.

NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) is currently priced 1.3% above its average consensus analyst price target of $32.72. The stock should discover initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $27.02 and subsequent support at its 200-day MA of $25.78.
