MicroPact receives contract to develop web-based case management systemJan 23, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- MicroPact Inc., a provider of case and business process management software, has received a contract from the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission to develop a web-based case management system. The case management system, which will be built using MicroPact's entellitrak software, will automate the legal and adjudicative process regarding emergency response plans, alleged safety and health violations, orders to close a mine, miners' charges of safety-related discrimination and miners' request for compensation after mine idling. "The Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission has the daunting responsibility to monitor critical claims put forth by the MSHA and mine workers, claims that often involve health and safety concerns," said Kris Collo, CEO, President and Founder of MicroPact. "With a customized case management system in place, the Commission can alleviate time spent administering files and paperwork and spend more energy identifying solutions that comply with legislative regulations." Under the contract with the Commission, MicroPact will deploy an integrated, publically accessible case management system for litigants to file claims and for Commissioners and administrative law judges to create and manage dockets and conduct appellate reviews. http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
