TIO Networks partners with Gulf Power to provide bill payment services

Jan 21, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- TIO Networks Corp, a cloud-based bill payment processor, has partnered with Gulf Power Company, an electric utility, to enable Gulf Power customers in the Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach areas to pay their bills using self-service kiosks at select Circle K convenience stores.

"Paying bills on time can be challenging for many Americans today," said Hamed Shahbazi, CEO and Chairman of TIO Networks. "Our goal is to remove the barriers that make bill payment difficult and help our partners provide value added services to their customers." TIO's self-service kiosk locations accept cash and are accessible 24 hours, seven days a week, and in multiple languages. Customers have the option to have bills processed in real time to avoid interest or late fees. To pay their monthly utilities, users can visit a TIO kiosk at participating Circle K locations with cash and a copy of their bill, TIO said.

"We're excited to offer our customers this service, which will help alleviate wait times and ultimately make the bill payment process more convenient," said Jeff Rogers, Corporate Communications Manager for Gulf Power. "We hope to expand to additional locations throughout our service market as customers become more accustomed to the automated kiosks." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
